Vroom Vroom

This past weekend we got ourselves a car! Purchasing your first car is one of the stepping stones in a marriage, right? We got a 2013 Hyundai Elantra and we're still so, so, so, so excited about it. We've been borrowing my parents car {the one I drove in high school with the deer dent on the hood} for the time being, so we love finally having one to call our own. We went to a dealership in Draper called Velocity. Highly recommend. They were so helpful and not pushy at all! Not typical for a car dealership. They sincerely wanted to help us find exactly what we were looking for and give us the best deal. We even got my aunt Robyn a $100 cash referral because that's where Brian always bought their cars. Score on the great service, score on the free money, and score on the new ride.

XOXO

A little bit late, but that's okay. I really love valentine's day. I think it's so fun celebrating love! The day was filled with compliments, kisses, flowers, and my boy {obsessed with that last one}. Seriously, who wouldn't love this holiday? This valentine's day fell on a Sunday, so Jase and I got matchy with pops of red in our Sunday best. I wish we took a picture, but by the time we got home from church we were both so ready for a nap haha.

And since I didn't write some sort of card or note to my sweet boy, I thought this would do.

To my valentine,

'I love you' and 'You're handsome' are probably the two phrases I tell you most. It's gotten to the point where you'll laugh because I'll say them at the most random times. But it's true. I love you SO much and I don't think I'll ever be able to get over how handsome you are. I want to t
hank you for the love that you give to me-- despite my flaws, my quirks, my horrible sarcastic jokes, and constant stubbornness. You make me feel so loved, so important, and so beautiful all the time. I couldn't have asked for a better best friend or husband. I absolutely love doing this life with you and I'm so happy that I get to call you my valentine forever.
I love you, handsome.

Love, Lexee
