Brielle is TWO. Well, two and a half now but let's just pretend I'm not that far behind on posting haha. We celebrated our girl big time with an aquarium visit, two parties, and three birthday cakes. I guess that's what happens when your birthday falls on a holiday! I'm still trying to figure out the best way to work with that. Me and Jason were a little under the weather on her birthday, but we decided to go to the aquarium to get out and celebrate anyway. There was a New Year's Eve countdown for kids that evening and I thought that'd be a fun way to celebrate our girl and the new year. We got there early, ate a yummy dinner at the cafe, and watched the confetti fall all over the lobby. We visited the kids favorite exhibits and hit up the play area. We ran into Britta and Shilo's fams while we were there. What are the odds! It was so fun seeing them. Brielle and Emmett each picked a toy from the aquarium gift shop on our way out. It was definitely overpriced, but worth it for this special occasion. They were beaming! We got a little confetti cake from the store on the way home, sang happy birthday, ate smash-cake style, and went to bed early. It was a goooood day.

The Party Don't Stop
Most of Jason's siblings and their families were in town around that time so we thought it might be best to do two separate parties - one with his family and one with mine. Not ideal, but I get overwhelmed hosting large groups, and if we kept it to one party it would have been a large group. Matt & Raquel were visiting from Peru. Tierra & Court were visiting from Idaho, along with Tierra's half sister Kim who was visiting from California. Evan & Blaire were also going to come down from Logan but couldn't end up making it.
My mom offered to help celebrate Brielle at her house that Sunday with our family. Literally took allll the stress off of me. She had the best chinese dinner spread and made the yummiest birthday bundt cake. It was honestly 10x better than the domino's pizza and store bought cake I got for the party I threw haha. Brielle, YOUR GIGI IS THE BEST.
We took some two year old pictures before her Paull party started. Those never go as planned haha. She was in a mooood. She started off with a few smiles but that quickly disappeared the more pictures I took. She must get that from her daddy ;)
^^ This is my house cleaning / picture taking / party prepping look.
I'm sure Brielle didn't mind the three birthday cakes one bit ;)
A few things I want to remember about two year old Brielle.
She has the sweetest little voice in the world.
She says, "I need to hold you" when she wants to be held.
She is so affectionate and loves giving kisses.
If you tell her she's sassy she says, "I not sassy, I Brielle!"
She only ever wants what Emmett is playing with.
Her favorite foods are strawberries, nuggets, waffles, and eggs.
She is very sensitive and has the cutest pouty face.
She stopped taking naps but always falls asleep in the car.
She can't help but nod her head when music is playing.
Her first request every morning is chocolate milk.
She carries a tiny heart teddy bear around everywhere.
She is very picky about the clothes she wears.
She rides the wiggle car like a pro.
She doesn't like getting wet or dirty.
Probiotics are her best friend.
She's obsessed with the color pink.
She is the most beautiful little girl I know.
Happy (very late) Birthday, Brielle!
I love you so much.
