Wedding Season

Alright, time for a wedding season run-down! I'm going to keep this chronological.

6.2.17
Brad & Melissa

I've known Brad since... 4th grade? We endured the awkward elementary, middle, and high school years together. We grew up in the same church ward, had the same group of friends, and {not to make it weird} also attended our senior prom together. It had been a while since I'd seen him or any of our old Colorado friends, so his wedding was quite the reunion!

Pictured above: Matt, Brad, Jacob, Hailey, and Chris. So many memories made with these people!! All of us lived quite close growing up, but a lot of our families have since moved. It's kind of sad thinking that this was probably the last time this group will ever be together again! We had a good time catching each other up on our lives.

Something Jason and I absolutely loved at their reception was the macaroni bar! SUCH A COOL IDEA. They served mac & cheese in martini glasses and had plenty of toppings to choose from - bacon, tomatoes, bread crumbs, etc. I may or may not have had multiple servings. Also, the cake was to die for. {Oh my gosh, can you tell that I'm hungry?}

6.10.17
Hunter & Courtney

I swear Hunter and Courtney were made for each other. Hunter is my cousin, so his wedding was one big family reunion which I LOVED. Their ceremony was in the morning, followed by a luncheon, and they had a reception later that evening. My parents, siblings, and cute nieces spent the couple of hours we had before the reception at my house. I was in heaven with all of them there!

Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from that day.

Doesn't a baby look good on him? I sure think so.

Notice how all the pictures are of either Scarlett or Evelynn. They are obviously the favorites!

6.24.17
Todd & Michaela

Okay. I have so much love for the Billat girls. I'm absolutely thrilled for Todd and Michaela! They are such a fun, happy-going couple. Remember how I mentioned in my last post that there are three Billat weddings this summer? Well this was wedding #2 for their family, and it was just as stunning as the first. Payson was the temple of choice for all three girls and I've loved how many times I've got to go this year!

We had some time between the sealing and the reception, so Britta, Shilo, my mama, and I went to Red Robin for lunch and did some shopping-- which explains my outfit change haha. FYI, Red Robin's wedge salad appetizer is absolutely delicious, too big for me to finish, and it's only $3.00. You're welcome.

The reception venue was so unique. Exposed. Brick. Everywhere. Very cute! They served waffle love, and once again, I ate way too much cause it was THAT good. Ugh, I really gotta go get something to munch on.

Love my sissy!

Hailey did a fantastic job with Michaela and Todd's wedding video! It's so fun being able to watch back and relive perfect days like this.

Well that about sums up the June weddings! Thank goodness they all landed on different weekends.  It was so fun seeing so many old friends and being able to spend lots of time with those I love most. After this year, though, I think we'll be wedding'd out for a bit haha. Happy Sunday everyone!

My Best Friend's Wedding

This post is dedicated to my bestie of 15 years, Hailey Billat turned Hawton! Practically all of my memories growing up in Colorado involve her. From elementary-high school we were inseparable and I loveeee that we've stayed so close throughout the years, even when our lives took different routes in our college years. I'm very grateful for her friendship and it's so fun that we now only live 30 minutes from each other in Utah! Anyways, to get to the point of this post, Hailey and Matt were married in the Payson temple on May 20th. It was a perfect day. She looked stunning, so happy, and in love. No joke, I've never felt so happy for someone else's happiness until that day! I will even admit that I got a bit emotional in her sealing. I love Hails like a sister.

I could ramble on and on about all the details, but I'd rather just show you. Hailey was so kind in letting me have access to all of her wedding pictures and I'm kind of obsessed with them. So enjoy the picture overload! Also, if anyone is needing some wedding inspiration, I suggest you keep scrolling.

Fun fact: Three of the Billat girls were/are getting hitched this summer. That is THREE weddings to plan in one family people! Bless their sweet parents.

Okay! How beautiful is she?! These pictures of her are my favorite ^^

Oh what I would give to have some of this food right now. It was delicious!

LOOK AT HOW HAPPY SHE LOOKS.
I am so, so happy for Mr. and Mrs. Hawton! I wish them an eternity of happiness.

I also want to throw in a couple my own pics from that day.

Meghan, the girl on the right, is also one of Hailey's long time besties. The three of us went to high school and were on the cheer team together. It was such a fun reunion! I still can't get over the fact that it's been five years since high school and that we are all now married. Time flies!

Dancing with my man is what I most look forward to at weddings. Good thing we got lots of chances this year attending four weddings, with two (maybe three?) more to go! I plan on summarizing those at another time in another post.

Until then,
xoxo

Also DYING over their wedding video. Insert allllll the heart eyes.
