Tierra + Cortlen

Weddings, weddings, weddings galore! Sorry if this is getting a little repetitive lol. On September 9th, Cortlen and Tierra {my sis-in-law} were married in Idaho Falls. Jase and I drove down that morning to meet up with the fam and help set-up for the wedding. The morning was rushed, hectic, and full of hair drama, but Tierra looked GORGEOUS and the evening went perfectly. I'll do what I do best and share the day through pictures. Again,  l o v i n g  the camera!

These two crack me up. After the traditional cake cutting, they stayed put for a good couple of minutes to eat more cake! Now that's the way it should be hahaha.

I love this picture of Jason and Tierra. Jason has always been super protective of his little sis. He may or may not have teared up a bit during the ceremony {he did}. It was so sweet.

^^ That's my boyfriend.

We are so happy for Mr. & Mrs. Fisher!

Oh, I also made their reception video.

Bear Lake

If you've never been to Bear Lake, you should probably change that. It is such a fun spot. Jason's dad and step mom were visiting from California, so we made a day trip out there to meet them - along with Evan, Blaire, Chaenonaelae, and Adelaide. It was a blast! I love spending time with family, especially the ones we don't get to see very often.

Jason and I splurged a bit and bought a camera recently and this was the first time we really got to play around with it. WE ARE SO IN LOVE. We will use the heck out of that thing. Jason's dad does photography for a living, so we shot alongside him while he gave us some pointers - seriously so helpful! The lake is normally a pretty turquoise-blue, but it was overcast the day we went which made for some perfect weather and awesome lighting.

My cute nieces ^^^ I love these pictures of them.

^^ That's pretty much how all of us were feeling by the end of the day haha. After the lake, the boys played with the girls in the pool/hot tub while Jackie, Blaire, and I caught up. We went back to the condo afterwards and barbecued hamburgers for dinner. My favvvvv.

Jason's dad couldn't resist a family selfie with his new selfie-stick before we left. It only took us about 30 minutes to figure the dang thing out hahaha. Best way to spend a Thursday! Possibly playing hooky from work.. shhh.

As you can see, we've kept ourselves busy. On top of all that ^^^ I've somehow managed to work 50+ hour weeks almost all summer long. We've been short staffed at work due to someone quitting unexpectedly and another person vacationing in Europe for a month. That left TWO of us to do the job of FOUR {but in my opinion five} people during the peak of tax season and quarter-end financials. So I got to spend the majority of my summer, including weekends, at my desk :,) Oh I miss those days when summer consisted of sleeping in and laying out!

Busy is good, right? I have even more to share for September, but that will be coming in a couple separate posts... hopefully soon haha.
