Hoppy Easter

This Easter was Emmett's first! At least that's what I kept thinking all day long haha. He was a tiny little guy this time last year and I have absolutely no recollection of how we celebrated {so we likely didn't}. Emmett's at an age where he can participate in some fun things, but not quite old enough to really know what's goin' on. We decided to kick off the festivities by taking him to a 0-2 year old egg hunt in Castle Rock.

Emmett's girl Josie was also at the egg hunt with her parents. We always love to see them!

It was a fun time.

On Easter Sunday we went to church, took pictures, found baskets, napped, ate a yummy dinner {ham, cheesy potatoes, salad, asparagus, deviled eggs, rolls, and carrot cake - MMMMM}, and had a little backyard egg hunt for Emmett and Evie. It was a perfect way to celebrate.

Just wishing we had our daddy with us. We will be reunited for good soon!

This boy can never have too many cars! He loves 'em. Also, can I point out his cute arm dimples?
I'M OBSESSED.

He's getting so big :,)

It's crazy to think that this time next year we'll be coloring Easter eggs in our kitchen, hiding baskets around our home, and doing egg hunts in our yard. Ahh, I can hardly wait!

I'll end with my favorite message from that day. {I watched this probably ten times.}

It's all because of Him. I love my Savior.
