Quick update before I take us back to the beach! We move to Utah in 17 days. Our house has been listed for 16 days and we're still waiting on offers. So far we have one offer but it's messy. It's contingent on two other houses selling. UGHHHHH. We totally thought we'd have showings for one weekend and have multiple offers to choose from after that. Boy were we wrong! The housing market has definitely slowed down since last month and for whatever reason tons of houses keep popping up on the market in our same price range. If we had listed even two weeks sooner I think it would have been a quick sell. Anyways, we had a few showings this weekend and our realtor said two couples seem very interested. I'm praying that turns into an offer so I can stop cleaning my house like a crazy woman everyday and start packing!
Another update: I had sinus surgery a few weeks ago to fix a deviated septum and remove a polyp. I went into it thinking it would be a fairly easy procedure with a quick recovery but NOPE. It was pretty brutal. I was so confused when I woke up from the anesthesia and in instant tears from the pain. My nose was a faucet of blood so I had gauze taped to my face that first day and splints in my nose for a week which is about as comfy as it sounds. But that wasn't even the worst part!! My body reacted horribly to the antibiotic I was given. I was lightheaded, anxious, dizzy, shaky, nauseous, had headaches, chills, night sweats, muscle cramps, loss of feeling in my hands and legs, shortness of breath, and constantly felt like I was going to pass out. It was scary. Sometimes every symptom would hit me at once and it reminded me a lot of the night I had my ectopic pregnancy. We called our neighbor Kenzie over at 3 AM one night while we rushed to the hospital, but by the time we got there my symptoms had gone away. Jason and I walked around the hospital parking lot and called a nurse line before going in. The nurse said those are all potential side effects of the medicine I was on so we drove home and I obviously stopped taking it. I think I'm slowly starting to get better... but I did randomly have another episode last night and I got a migraine today for the first time in years. After seeing two doctors and getting blood work done I still don't really have answers. I'm a little nervous the surgery gave me benign paroxysmal positional vertigo....... at least that's what google says haha.
Last update: RYAN, KARLIE, AND SWEET BABY HARVEY ARE MOVING TO UTAH. It's official as of Friday! After we told them we were moving, Ryan applied to four positions out there and got an offer for every one. He ended up accepting a job with Northrop Grumman in Magna. The goal is to eventually get Jason transferred from the Clearfield office to the Magna office so we can look for a house more in that direction. We'd love to be neighbors with them again ;)
Alright you're up to speed! Now let's reminisce on a much simpler time. Back in May we took a trip to Santa Rosa Beach with my parents. I am so glad we did that with them because once we move to Utah we likely won't be going back to the beach for a while. I'm going to miss it!! While we were there we dodged a rainy weather forecast, walked along the beach at sunset, rode around town in the golf cart, played in the soft sand, found crabs and seashells, made sand castles, soaked up a little too much sun at the beach, applied lots of aloe vera, took naps, played mexican train and monopoly deal, ate yummy shaved ice, worried about a gas shortage, watched movies, played with play doh, cruised on beach bikes, ate steak at McGuire's, and took lots of pictures. I have so many I want to share, so get ready. These are memories I don't want to forget!

I loved this trip!! We will definitely need to go back someday with the whole family ♥
