We spent Thanksgiving with my family this year. We were planning on being here for it whether we lived in Utah or not, but I am very thankful that we didn't need to make the 25+ hour drive from Alabama. Instead we drove a quick eight minutes from our house to my parents and celebrated the holiday with my entire family. I LOVE THAT SO MUCH.
It was the best time. We have so much to be thankful for!
The next day our family had a gingerbread house competition with a $100 prize on the line. Mine and Jason's hope of winning was not very high haha. My sisters are some of the most creative people I know! Each couple had a two hour time limit to build and decorate their house.
Gigi made little gingerbread houses for the grandkids to decorate. Emmett was so proud of his!

^^ The winners
As you can see, we had some tough competition ;)
Most of Jason's family was in town that weekend so we were all able to get together. We had dinner at Ryan and Karlie's house and Evan blessed our newest nephew Noah. It has been so nice living close to both sides of our families! I'm still soooo happy that Ryan and Karlie moved to Utah with us haha. The Collins are moving here soon as well which means most of the Alabama crew will be back together!! I just wish we could all be neighbors again... is that too much to ask??
^^ These pictures crack me up. I had to show the struggle of taking pictures with kids haha.
That's it for now! I'm so far behind on blogging.
Hopefully christmas and birthdays will be next!
You have some fun pictures from Thanksgiving that I haven't seen - love them!! ♥
