Ava

I am so incredibly far behind, it's intimidating for me to even be posting. I have a few folders with photos already sorted, so my goal is to get through those and then stop playing catch up! After that I'll share the occasional life update and call it good haha.

This post is for Ava.

We said goodbye to her almost exactly a year ago on October 12th. Her quality of life was not the best and she was in constant pain, so my parents decided to have her put down. Me and the kids went over the night before to say our final goodbyes and give her some snuggles. I'll always have a special place in my heart for this pup!

Mauri sent me these photos of Ava and Jack's final moments together.

My parents must have gone out of town not too long after. I went over to their house to let Jack outside and he hopped right up into my car passenger seat. I'm sure he was feeling lonely! It was his first time being alone alone. I felt too bad, so he ended up coming home with me for the day.

A quick throwback. I was sooo obsessed and in love with puppy Ava.

These two would lay on my bed every morning as I got ready for school my senior year.

We miss our Ava girl!! She was such a good pup.
