8 Months

Our boy is EIGHT MONTHS and he is one determined little dude. Emmett taught himself how to climb the stairs and can now pull himself up onto anything and everything. He hasn't quite learned how to gracefully get down once he's gotten up, however, so that keeps this mama on her toes!!! He does this thing where he sticks out his chin and puckers his lips whenever he concentrates on something. It's so adorable. He's been fascinated with his hands lately and likes to raise them in the air and stare at them {with his cute pucker face haha}. He recently learned how to make fishy lips and how to gargle. He loves poppin' off mom to gargle that milk when nap time rolls around! He has four teeth and grinds those bad boys allll the time. Let's hope that's a habit that doesn't stick. Emmett can't resist doorstops and furniture knobs. He slid down his first slide, pet his first goat, flew on his first airplane, and took his first trip across the country this month! He is a mama's boy for sure and loves to use her as his own personal jungle gym. Emmett's a good eater but a  t e r r i b l e  sleeper. We hope it's just a phase :,) There's a whole lotta change coming for our boy these upcoming months. Fingers crossed he adjusts to his new surroundings well!
