Back to the Beach

I'm falling behind and time sure isn't slowing down, so let's play catch up! Back in January we went on our most spontaneous beach trip yet. I seriously love that we live close enough to be able to do that! It was Jason's birthday weekend so we rounded up some friends, found an airbnb, and were on our way less than two days later. It was quite chilly when we went but that didn't matter. We still had the best time, as always.

We stayed in the cutest airbnb.

We spent lots of time in the golf cart.

We played in the sand,

and walked along the beach.

We explored.

We saw some alligators.

We went to the arcade.

Ryan won Emmett a prize (that he still plays with daily).

We shopped for sweatshirts at the outlets.

We ate GOOD.

I am so dang happy for them!!

A few things not pictured: We sang Jason the longest version of happy birthday we possibly could and ate oreo ice cream cake to ring in his 31st year. Karlie and I ran three b e a u t i f u l miles around Santa Rosa. (I'm not quite sure how I managed to do that haha.) When the kids went to bed the adults stayed up late, played games, and rode around on electric scooters.

I'm already so excited for the next beach trip! We're going with my parents in May and I am counting. down. the. days. Until then, Destin!
