10 Months

Our little Emmett man is ten months already! Pretty sure the months are getting shorter and shorter. Emmett was alllll over the map this month - Colorado, Alabama, Tennessee, Wyoming, Utah. He took his first solo flight with mom and did surprisingly better than she expected. Still feel a little bad for the guy sitting next to us though... spilt formula does not smell great haha. He also spent around 24 hours road tripping in his carseat. I feel for ya buddy. Unfortunately, Emmett learned the ways of a temper tantrum :/ This has definitely been his loudest and most clingy month. His sleeping is still a bit sporadic. He wakes up 2-3 times a night and naps are usually only 20-30 minutes long. His mama is always pleasantly surprised whenever he naps any longer than that. Emmett has eight teeth and discovered that if he doesn't like the taste of something he can just spit the food out of his mouth. He can't seem to resist goldfish, baked beans, veggie straws, chicken nuggets, and cinnamon pop-tarts however. Our boy experienced his first trampoline, got his first haircut {bye bye baby mullet!}, and his first bad diaper rash. We're still fighting that dang thing. You will always find Emmett cruisin' with a car in his hand. He stood up and balanced on his own for the first time and is starting to pick up on how to use his walker. His parents have never been so proud :,) He'll be running around in no time. Oh Emmett James, you have this exhausted mama's heart.
