The Party Don't Stop!

January is THE birthday month in our family. Jason, Mauri, Evie, Lynnea, and my Dad all have birthday's within a couple weeks of each other, so the party {and cake consumption} just never seemed to stop around here! We threw three separate parties and made a total of five cakes  + cupcakes. What a way to start off those healthy new year resolutions haha ;) Since I brought my camera along with me, I made sure to snap pictures of allll the festivities.

January 8th {Mauri}

^^ Notice the flowers! Lucky girl. I overheard her say the day before that sunflowers are her favorite, but aren't in season. Well, as I was walking around good ol' Sam's Club I saw some and knew I had to get them for her.

January 11th {Still Mauri}

So let's count here. Mauri got three flower bouquets, two cakes, and one pretty awesome 18th birthday party. My mom made the cakes and I've decided that she needs to open her own bakery or something because they seriously look profesh. I can't believe my baby sis is eighteen! Pretty sure I was eighteen like yesterday.

January 13th {Evie}

^^ Love this cute TWO year old! I'm so glad Emmett and I were here to celebrate with her.

January 18th {Jason, Lynnea, Dad}

Jason's birthday is on January 16th. Lynnea and my dad share a birthday on January 20th. Jason came into town that weekend {1} to see his wife and child and {2} because I really wanted to celebrate his birthday with him. We threw what I like to call a birthday extravaganza for the three of them that Friday. We literally had cake for daaaays afterward.

I loved Jason's reaction when he opened his gift. He's not one to show a lot of emotion, especially with other people around, so I knew I got him something good when he couldn't stop smiling :) Him and Lynnea were talking about his R.A. Salvatore book collection right before this, so that explains both of their faces when they saw that I got him more of those books haha.
